FAQBefore You Order
Should I choose HVLP or air-assisted airless?
HVLP is often selected for maximum control on detailed work, while air-assisted airless can provide higher production with fine atomization. The coating and required throughput should drive the decision.
Can these systems spray latex or heavier coatings?
Some can, but the turbine stage, pump, nozzle, tip and material preparation must be compatible with the coating manufacturer's guidance.
How do I select the correct gun setup?
Provide the coating, viscosity, desired fan width, production rate and preferred fluid-feed method.
Do I need a dedicated fine-finish filter or hose?
Use filtration, hose and pressure ratings recommended for the selected system and coating. Fine-finish setups are sensitive to contamination and incorrect component sizing.
