Which model do I need?
All three share the Optimax housing and 17″ steel impeller. What changes is how the operator moves it.
Push – six models from 1,700 CFM (9160-04-01) to 2,850 CFM (9570-04-01). The lightest is 108 lb.
Self-propelled – the same airflow without pushing 200-plus pounds across turf: up to 4.1 mph forward and 2.5 mph reverse.
9570SB stand-on – for big properties, sports facilities and municipal grounds. Hydrostatic drive to 7.6 mph, yet it fits through a 36″ gate, and the platform flips up for walk-behind use and trailer storage.
Shipping to California? The two Kohler push models, 9270-06-01 and 9390-06-01, are the ones here that Little Wonder does not list as CARB restricted.
What does the split-stream deflector do?
“Unique split-stream air deflector moves piles of leaves farther and faster; without blow-back!”
It is adjusted from the handle by a chain and pulley. The discharge chute gives integrated front or side discharge with no tools, and on every push model except the 9160 it is controlled remotely from the handle.
What is different about the 9570SB?
“Big Blowing Power. Compact Footprint.” An 18 HP Vanguard Small Block V-Twin with electric start drives a 17″ steel impeller to 2,850 CFM at 180 mph.
An Ogura PTO clutch engages and disengages the impeller, the stand-on platform cuts operator fatigue against a walk-behind, and it carries a 2-year warranty.

Accessories, kits and blades
- Parking Brake Kit 4174094 – “Secure transport and reduce roll-offs.” Fits Optimax models except the 9160 and the self-propelled models.
- Solid Front Wheel 4173815 – adds durability where the blower works over tough and abrasive surfaces, with no tire pressure to maintain.
- Swivel Wheel Kit 9050-00-01 – 360° turning, and locks straight for normal running. Optimax push blowers, except the 9570 series.
- Tool Holder 4174355 – attaches to either side of the blower and carries one long-handled tool.

Blades, belts, wheels, bags and the other wear parts are available for every machine on this page, including ones already in service.
