Allegro Cooling, Lens Care & Site Safety
Allegro Cooling, Lens Care & Site Safety
Cooling vests, wraps and hard hat liners for heat stress, with eyewear cleaning stations and AED wall cases.
What this collection covers
Three smaller Allegro ranges that share a page because they share a buyer – the person equipping the site rather than the task.
- Cooling – evaporative, phase change and vortex cooling vests, neck wraps, beanies, neck shades and hard hat liners.
- Lens care – eyewear cleaning stations, wipes, canisters and pocket paks.
- AED storage – defibrillator wall cases, plastic and metal, with and without alarm and strobe.
Which type of cooling vest should I buy?
Three technologies, and the right one depends on the humidity and on what is already at the work area.
Evaporative – soak it, wear it, it cools as it dries. Cheapest and simplest, and it fades in high humidity because evaporation is what drives it.
Phase change – frozen or chilled inserts in a carrier vest. Works regardless of humidity, holds a steady temperature, and runs out after its rated period, so you need spare inserts in rotation.
Vortex – runs off compressed air and cools continuously for as long as the air is connected. The most effective by a distance, and it tethers the worker to an airline.
Humid climate and no air supply points at phase change. Air already at the work area points at vortex.
How many phase change inserts do I need?
At least two sets per worker per shift, usually three in sustained heat. One set in the vest, one recharging, and a third if the recharge cycle is slower than the wear cycle.
Budget for the inserts, not just the vests – that is the part that gets underordered and the reason a programme stops being used by week two.
Do AED wall cases come with an AED?
No. These are storage cases only – the cabinet, and on the alarm and strobe versions the alerting hardware. The defibrillator itself is bought separately.
Specify whether you need the alarm, the strobe or both. The alarm deters casual removal and the strobe helps people find the unit, and some facilities require one, the other or neither.
Why buy Allegro from HTS Supply
Allegro Industries has built air-supply, ventilation and worker-protection equipment in the United States since 1990, and HTS Supply carries the line whole rather than the fast-moving fraction of it.
- The full catalogue – systems, components and the replacement parts that keep them running, not just the headline items.
- Specified, not just shipped – tell us the task and we will work back to the right configuration.
- One purchase order – Allegro alongside the rest of the equipment lines we carry.
What do you need from me to quote?
The Allegro part number if you have it – it is on the product label and in the manual, and it returns the fastest answer.
If you do not have it, send:
- What the task is, and whether it is indoor, outdoor or confined space
- How many workers it has to cover
- What you already own that it has to work with
- Quantity, ship-to ZIP code and the date you need it
Call 504-228-4049 or email sales@hydrotechnologysystems.supply.
Shipping, freight and lead times
Most of this line ships parcel. Blowers, tents, shelters, reels and cased systems move by freight, which needs a ship-to ZIP and a note on whether the site has a dock or needs a liftgate.
Stocked items ship quickest; anything ordered in from Allegro carries their lead time, which we confirm on the quote rather than estimate here. If the job is already scheduled, say so on the request – it changes how we source it.
