Before Ordering
What is the difference between a bottle jack and a toe jack?
A bottle jack lifts from its top saddle. A toe jack can lift from a low-positioned toe, making it useful when machinery has very little ground clearance.
When is an air/manual bottle jack useful?
Air operation speeds lifting when compressed air is available, while the manual pump provides backup or allows use away from the air supply.
Can I lift a load equal to the jack's rated capacity?
The jack must be selected and used according to the manufacturer's instructions, with an appropriate safety margin and stable support conditions.
Can a jack be used as a permanent support?
No. After lifting, support the load with properly rated mechanical stands, cribbing or other approved support equipment.
