Diamond Products Weka Saws & Equipment
Weka high cycle hand drill motors, ring saws, hand saws and chain saws, with the 460V inverters that drive them - high power in a package light enough to carry.
What this collection covers
The Weka high cycle line distributed by Diamond Products.
- Hand drill motors – the HD16 high cycle hand-held core drill.
- Ring saws – the TR40, for deep cuts from one side.
- Hand saws – the TS40F high cycle hand saw.
- Chain saws – the CSE16HF for square corners and deep plunge cuts.
- Inverters – 460V three-phase frequency converters that power the tools.
What is high cycle and why use it?
High cycle tools run on a higher-frequency supply than mains power. The motor spins faster for its size, so the tool delivers more power per pound than a comparable 115V or 230V machine.
That matters most on hand-held work, where the operator carries the tool all day, and in confined spaces where a hydraulic power pack will not fit.
Do I need the inverter?
Yes, unless the site already has a high cycle supply. The tools cannot run on standard mains; the inverter converts 460V three-phase to the frequency the motor needs.
One inverter can serve more than one tool. Confirm the 460V three-phase supply is available before ordering.
Ring saw, chain saw or hand saw?
A ring saw cuts roughly twice as deep as a blade saw of the same size, because the drive is on the rim rather than the center.
A chain saw cuts square corners and plunges deep with no overcut - the answer for openings that have to be exact.
A hand saw is the fastest for general shallow cutting.
What blades and bits do these take?
Ring saws take ring saw blades, which are specific to the saw. Chain saws take diamond chain matched to the bar. The HD16 takes standard core bits on its rated connection.
See diamond blades and coring bits, or send the model and we will match them.
What do you need from me to quote?
The part number or catalog number if you have it. If you do not, tell us the material being cut or ground, the machine it runs on, the size and arbor or thread, the quantity, and where it ships.
On equipment, add the power available - gas, hydraulic, 115V, 230V or three-phase - because most models are built in more than one configuration.
