The Dryaire desiccant air drying system protects your paint finish by removing dirt, water, oil, and uncondensed moisture from compressed air lines. Sharpe's model 6760 desiccant system utilizes 100% indicating silica gel desiccant, offering superior moisture retention compared to units using activated alumina. This assembled 3-stage point-of-use system is easy to install and is approved for paint company warranty programs when applying modern refinish materials. It is also ideal for protecting moisture-sensitive tools. The desiccant changes color when saturated, indicating the need for regeneration or replacement (6765-1). This system maintains a -40°F dew point, achieving 0% compressed air humidity.
For use with the Dryaire Membrane Air Drying System.
- Stage 1 air filter includes an auto drain (overnight) and a 5-micron filter.
- Stage 2 coalescer with auto drain (overnight) removes oil particles down to 0.01 micron.
- Stage 3 desiccant housing has a 30cfm capacity.
- Self-relieving air regulators, a mounting bracket, and a shut-off valve are included.
