Trabon Performance Indicators are pressure-sensitive devices designed to detect excessive pressure within Trabon series progressive lubricating systems. Installed in alternate outlet ports of divider valves, these devices signal a fault by either extending an indicator pin or releasing lubricant. All Performance Indicators react rapidly to safeguard the lubrication system and identify blockages in the lube lines.
These indicators are suitable for MH divider valve applications where lubrication system pressures may exceed 2,500 psi (172 bar).
- Excessive pressure caused by a blockage results in disc rupture.
- Lubricant pressure extends an indicator pin, signaling the presence of a blockage.
- High pressure backs up through the system and activates a switch, shutting down the system.
- Following correction of the fault, the disc requires replacement and the pin must be reset.
