Transfer pumps are necessary for moving A and B materials to Reactor Spray Systems. The T3 Transfer Pump integrates Graco’s established Merkur air-motor with the widely used T2 stainless steel lower. This pump operates at a 3:1 ratio, utilizing lower air pressure to achieve the required fluid pressure.
- Improved maneuverability: The T3 is 3.7 inches (9.4 cm) shorter in height above the drum compared to the T2, facilitating easier removal from the drum within a spray rig.
- Reduced noise: Research indicates the T3 Transfer Pump is approximately 3 times quieter than the T2 Transfer Pump.
- Lower maintenance requirements: The Merkur air-motor employs air pilot valve technology for its pneumatic switching mechanism. This contrasts with the T1 and T2 Transfer Pumps, which feature a mechanical reversing mechanism in their air-motors.
