Transfer Pumps are necessary for moving A and B materials to the Reactor Spray Systems. The T3 Transfer Pump integrates Graco’s established Merkur air-motor with the widely used T2 stainless steel lower. This pump operates at a 3:1 ratio, utilizing reduced air pressure to achieve the required fluid pressure.
- Easier Maneuverability: The T3's overall height is 3.7 inches (9.4 cm) less above the drum compared to the T2, facilitating easier removal from the drum within a spray rig.
- Reduced Noise: Studies indicate the T3 Transfer Pump operates approximately 3 times quieter than the T2 Transfer Pump.
- Lower Maintenance: The Merkur air-motor features air pilot valve technology, ensuring pneumatic air-motor switching. This contrasts with the T1 and T2 Transfer Pumps, which employ a mechanical reversing mechanism in their air-motors.
