Trabon Performance Indicators are pressure-sensitive devices designed to identify excessive pressure within Trabon series progressive lubricating systems. These indicators are installed in the alternate outlet ports of divider valves. They signal a fault by either extending an indicator pin or releasing lubricant to the atmosphere. All Performance Indicators react rapidly to safeguard the lubrication system and identify blockages in the lube lines.
These indicators are intended for use with MH divider valve applications where lubrication system pressures surpass 2,500 psi (172 bar).
- Excessive pressure caused by a blockage results in disc rupture.
- Lubricant pressure extends an indicator pin, signaling a blockage.
- High pressure can back up through the system and activate a switch to halt operation.
- Following fault correction, the disc requires replacement and the pin must be reset.
